California based startup Orbital Assembly Corporation has announced plans to begin the construction of the first ‘Space Hotel’, named Voyager Station, in 2026 and welcome guests in 2027.

Voyager Station will create artificial gravity using centrifugal force, and will take on the shape of a Ferris wheel, spinning to simulate gravity in its pods. Though its form might be unusual compared to Earth hotels, its rooms and amenities will be largely familiar to regular travelers. There will be luxurious accommodations for up to 280 guests — including villas available for purchase as vacation homes — a gourmet restaurant, bar, gymnasium, and entertainment center.

Voyager Station, is already taking reservations and it’ll cost a casual USD 5 million for a three-and-a-half-day stay.
